xmas break...
It's seven days to go and it's Christmas!
But I can't feel the spirit... i don't know why...
but at least! i'd have time to rest for two weeks! (oh yess!) despite all the school work I have to bring home... (e.g. 155 machine problem, 181 post lab, 132 exercises and 122 review)...
The classes ended in UP with the usual tradition of having the Oblation run and Lantern Parade.. as usual, a bunch of naked guys came running around AS (Palma Hall) at around twelve o'clock (which, unfortunately.. for three consecutive years now, I wasn't able to watch bcoz I'm late.. huhu...) but the Lantern Parade didn't proceeded as what is expected... It was postponed by the UP administration due to the Barikada made by the usual student activists in school, but because some colleges really preapared for their own lantern (such as the FA).. they still wanted to continue the parade... so they did.. the FA, NCPAG, and some Mech. Eng'g students carried on.. but instead of ending the parade at the Quezon Hall, they branched out and marched to their own colleges after the parade.. The supposed-to-be-happy event didn't came out as festive as what it was before... and after that, I didn't bother anymore to watch the fireworks display (if ever there is..)... coz I'm tired and quite disappointed....
Actually, last week has been a very tiring week for me! having two exams on two consecutive days (181 and 141).. UPPA Christmas Party (which caused me a two-hour sleep) and CMPL Christmas Party which also made me busy helping for the preparations last friday... Last week also swept all my money away!! huhuhu.... and now I have no choice but to just stay home and eat what my house can offer.... but at least I'd have a chance to take some diet after last week and before Christmas (Noche Buena) and New Year (Media Noche)...

"I don't know why we all hang on to something
we know we're better off letting go...
It's like we're scared to lose what we don't even really have..
Some of us say that we rather have that something
Than absolutely nothing...
But the Truth is:
to have it halfway is harder than not having it at all..."
